Today I drove from San Diego to St. George, to meet with the families who have formed a tribe, called Wild Roots. Here’s their site: wildrootstribe.com Their purpose is to create a nature lab at the Homestead, in Dammeron Valley. This is the first of many “pods” in the area. The co-operative of students and parents in this region will join together, on Fridays, to gain access to a bigger variety of students for social & emotional learning in an inclusive and equitable environment.
Tomorrow I will be meeting with each of the students and their parents. I would like to have a form to follow that will help me gather information on each child, and create a profile for tracking their education. I would like to create a parent portal with student files, in order to establish trust through transparency. I wonder if I can do that on my website…?
